Workshop
Details
Intensive and informative, all week long courses
begin with an introduction the first evening, and include six days
of hands on building with the workshop
theory woven in.
The days are full, running from 8am to 5pm, with
a break for lunch. Typically, two evening sessions
with speakers, are offered.
In most cases, students are responsible for their
own accommodations and meals. During the span of the workshop we try
to arrange one evening when instructors and students can dine out,
relax and
socialize together.
Individuals are responsible for their portion of the restaurant expenses
for that evening.
Each workshop ends with a celebratory
lunch at the project site.
Students are required to bring their own tool belts
and hand tools. Phoenix Hill Renovations provides the necessary power tools,
but students may also
bring their own.
